Recent posts widget
Display your latest posts in a grid or carousel. The widget comes with multiple styling options.
1 How to use
- Choose a category: You can choose to display posts from a specific category. If no category is chosen, the widget will include posts from all categories.
- Choose a layout: You can choose between a grid or carousel layout.
- Elements per row: Sets the number of posts in a row (on desktop)l
- Number of posts: The maximum number of posts to include.
- Text color: You can choose between dark and light text colors.
2 Settings
- Check which elements do you want to show/hide: featured image, excerpt, read more button.
- Button Text: Overrides the "read more" text.
- Display date: You can change how the post date appears. The available options are: on featured image, above post title, or do not display.
Carousel Settings
- If you picked the carousel layout, you can enable autoplay, adjust its transition delay, and choose between different navigation styles.
- Unchecking the display carousel navigation on mobile devices will hide the navigation on mobile.
3 Styling Options
- Heading size (Dentalia 2.0+): Changes the size of post titles.
- Button and hover color: You can choose from predefined theme colors.
- Button size: Changes the size of the "read more" buttons.
- Background color and its opacity: Adds background to the elements.
- Image overlay and image overlay on hover options allow you to add color overlays to the featured images.
- Scale image on hover: You can choose between zoom in, zoom out, or none.
